HOPI EAR CANDLING

Hopi Ear Candling, also referred to as Thermal Auricular Therapy, its safe, pain-free and a non-invasive treatment that releases pressure from the head by clearing out excess wax, dust and essentially anything that shouldn’t be there.

You will lay on one side, supported by a pillow to ensure maximum comfort and the Hopi Ear candle treatment will begin by the pointed end being placed through a barrier shield and then into the outer ear in a horizontal position.

Then when ignited, the candle will burn down, and you will feel a gentle warming sensation in the ear and hear a pleasant crackling sound during the process. The therapist will support the candle throughout the treatment ensuring maximum effect and safety. The process is then repeated on the other ear.

The warmth will soften any debris and excess wax in the ear as it is drawn into the base of the Hopi ear candle like a chimney. As the flame flickers it creates a vibration of air that creates a massage effect on the eardrum. This is a very soft and gentle treatment particularly suitable for children.

Ear candle treatment can be used for many conditions including deafness caused by excess wax, stimulating peripheral blood circulation, lymphatic and immune systems, congested sinuses, irritation in the ears, rhinitis, glue ear, colds, flu, headaches, migraines and ringing noises in the ears, like tinnitus.
